Freeport Music

Freeport Music is extremely proud to be celebrating their 10th year of providing some of the best, diverse national and regional entertainers to the Port Washington area for exciting nights of free live music. There will also be a variety of food and beverages available for purchase at the concert. The big celebration comes together Friday, July 4, 2014 on Franklin Street at Grand Avenue in downtown Port Washington from 3:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Headliners: The Smithereens, and Sam Llanas (formerly of the BoDeans)

5th Annual City Of Seven Hills Triathlon

Test your endurance at the fifth annual City of Seven Hills Triathlon! This sprint distance race features a 400m swim, a 20k bike, and a 5k run. Register before July 25th. Only the first 75 entrants will be accepted. Registration materials are available at the Parks and Recreation Office. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! Don't swim, run or bike? Then how about volunteering to work this event? See Charlie at the Recreation Office.

Community Street Fest - May 25
Downtown streets are closed for the kickoff to the summer. Enjoy local business' sales, music & food. Check out the Hole-In-One contest in Rotary Park.

Waddlepalooza - June 13 & June 14
Music and entertainment Friday and Saturday at the Coal Dock Park featuring the Bel Airs, Alex Wilson with Jim Luban and Boat Drunks.

Lion's Fest Fish Derby - August 1-3
Lion's Fest Fish Derby will be held at the Kiwanis Pavilion north of the Marina. The "Fest" is entertainment galore and food varying from Fish and Chips to burgers and brats! Just watching the boats bring in these huge fish to shore is thrilling!

Coal Dock Park Lantern Launch - September 27
A beautiful site to see! Last year over 500 lanterns were launched. Rain date - Sunday, September 28th.

No summer is complete without a slate of performances at the band shell in Veteran's Memorial Park. Sundays at 6:30 p.m.

"Go Fourth" Community Picnic - July 4
A community picnic theme will be held at Veteran's Memorial Park to celebrate the 4th of July. Parade at 11:00 a.m. with fireworks at dusk. Right after the parade there will be entertainment, bike judging and food. Festivities will be located at Veteran's Memorial Park. Thanks to Port Washington State Bank for decorations.

Fish Day - 50th Celebration - July 19
A full day of activities starts with the Portal Walk/Run at 8:00 a.m. Nine fish fry tents begin serving fish and chips non-stop at 10:00 a.m. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Music remains an integral part of the program. Stages located along the lakefront, including the main stage, are the settings for music appealing to all ages. For the mellow crowd, a huge Arts/Crafts Fair is sure to delight as will the Classic/Hot Rod car show in Upper Lake Park. Maritime Heritage Festival - August 15-17
Rotary Park and Coal Dock Park are the setting to celebrate Port's rich fishing heritage with wonderful entertainment, food, art show/sale, and kids activities. For more info please visit: www.portmaritimefestival.com.

Land Regatta Run/Walk - August 16
Please join the Port Washington-Saukville Jaycees on August 16th for our family-friendly 1st Annual Run/Walk event.
