This summer FREEPORT MUSIC, Port Washington’s FREE community summer concert series is back, celebrating 11 years of live music concerts at the bandshell in Veteran’s Memorial Park, located on the lakefront in downtown Port Washington. Bring a blanket, come down and enjoy the free shows! Food items and soft drinks will be sold at the concerts. Beer and wine sold by the Yacht Club.
Test your endurance at the sixth annual City of Seven Hills Triathlon! This sprint distance race features a 400m swim, a 20k bike, and a 5k run. Register before July 24th. Only the first 75 entrants will be accepted. Registration materials are available at the Parks and Recreation Office. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! Don't swim, run or bike? Then how about volunteering to work this event? See Charlie at the Recreation Office.
Returning for the second year, this event is the perfect distance for the younger athlete or relay teams looking to experience a triathlon. The course is family friendly, meaning distances are shorter and the emphasis is put on having fun. Enter as an individual or as a team! Either way, encourage your family and friends to get involved. This Super Sprint distance race features a 150m swim, a 7k bike, and a 2k run. Register before July 24th. Registration materials are available at the Parks & Recreation Office. Community Street Fest - May 24
Downtown streets are closed for the kickoff to the summer. Enjoy local business' sales, music & food. Check out the Hole-In-One contest in Rotary Park.

Lion's Fest Fish Derby - July 31 - August 2
Lion's Fest Fish Derby will be held at the Kiwanis Pavilion north of the Marina. The "Fest" is entertainment galore and food varying from Fish and Chips to burgers and brats! Just watching the boats bring in these huge fish to shore is thrilling!
Band Shell Sunday Concerts
No summer is complete without a slate of performances at the band shell in Veteran's Memorial Park. Sundays at 6:30 p.m.

"Go Fourth" Community Picnic - July 4
A community picnic theme will be held at Veteran's Memorial Park to celebrate the 4th of July. Parade at 11:00 a.m. with fireworks at dusk. Right after the parade there will be entertainment, bike judging and food. Festivities will be located at Veteran's Memorial Park. Thanks to Port Washington State Bank for decorations.
Fish Day - July 18
A full day of activities starts with the Portal Walk/Run at 8:00 a.m. Nine fish fry tents begin serving fish and chips non-stop at 10:00 a.m. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Music remains an integral part of the program. Stages located along the lakefront, including the main stage, are the settings for music appealing to all ages. For the mellow crowd, a huge Arts/Crafts Fair is sure to delight as will the Classic/Hot Rod car show in Upper Lake Park. Maritime Heritage Festival - August 14-16

Land Regatta Run/Walk - August 15
Please join B3 on August 15th for the 2nd annual Land Regatta Run/Walk. All proceeds raised from the family-friendly 2 and 4 mile event will fund the installation of an outdoor fitness park in Upper Lake Park. For more information please visit: www.landregatta.com.
Beer Garden - August, September & October
Scheduled dates are August 8, 22, 29, September 5, 12, 19, 26 and October 3 from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Upper Lake Park East Mini Shelter will be the setting for the Saturday beer gardens that are operated by civic groups in the community. Prosit!!
