Pirates' Hollow Community Waterpark - Port Washington Parks & Recreation

Port's long tradition of an affordable playground program offers creative and energetic leaders, active games, theme craft sessions and fun field trips. You may attend as often as you like, but you won't want to miss one day of great fun and games!

The Parks and Recreation Department has the sole discretion to cancel the day's activities due to inclement weather. Parents should have alternate arrangements in place in the event of emergency closing.

The Summer Playground Program Coordinator is Adam Maciejewski. The program is for 6-14 year olds (children must be at least attending 1st grade). The program runs Mondays through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays), from June 15th through August 7th. Please indicate t-shirt size on registration form as a t-shirt is included. T-shirts are sponsored by Port Washington State Bank.

NOTICE TO PARTICPANTS
  • The Port Washington Parks and Recreation Playground Program is committed to providing safe activities and qualified leaders. It is our policy, in the event of serious injury or illness, to contact Port Washington EMS by calling 911, the parents, and if necessary, to transport the participant to the nearest hospital or medical center.

  • The City of Port Washington has the discretion to cancel the day’s activities due to inclement weather or threat of inclement weather. Parents should have alternate arrangements in place in the event of emergency closing. When parents are not readily available, children must know their alternate location if the day’s program is cancelled.

  • In the event of disciplinary issues, Park Leaders have the discretion to send a child(ren) home for the day. Parent(s) will be called and informed of the issue and that the child(ren) will be sent home. Parents should have alternate arrangements in place in the event their child(ren) is sent home for any reason.

  • Our goal is to offer a safe and worry-free experience for both the child and parent. This is not a day-care program, but rather an afternoon alternative of outdoor fun and structured activities for kids.

  • The fee paid is for the entire program.

Your weather just got better.
Port Washington Parks and Recreation Heat Index

The heat index is a combination of the air temperature and the humidity and how it affects our body and health. If the heat index is at or above 105° F, our Playground Program will be cancelled. Participants should drink plenty of water and take breaks from activity periodically. Please refer to the current heat index reading above.
